Exceptional handling and braking thanks to our custom-built chassis

To achieve perfect handling and a grip that is worthy of sports cars, our VIGILANTE is equipped with a unique chassis that was custom-built in our workshops. This chassis was designed to fit new suspensions and to improve the axle control handling:

  • The original leaf springs were replaced with adjustable Eibach coil spring and Fox shocks.

  • The axle control (previously depending on leaf springs) is now guided by robust 4-link suspension.

These modifications ensure the car has perfect handling that is tailored to our customers’ preferences.

A reinforced chassis that is ready for a 485 hp engine

Thanks to our best-in-class chassis, we are able to offer several types of drivetrains with a power ranging from 485 hp to 1000 hp. You can also choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

For the 1966 Gladiator, we chose the 485hp SRT-8 powertrain and a 6-speed heavy-duty Tremec gearbox.

All this power is channeled through a reinforced transfer case, which allows the car to maintain the four-wheel-drive mode of operation.

Workspaces equivalent to the quality of our Jeeps.

Over 25,000 sq. ft of impeccable work environments that comply with best-in-class restorations of iconic Jeep Cherokee, Grand Wagoneer, and J-trucks.

From project to new vehicle: 15 months of meticulous work and attention

Each of our restorations lasts between 15 and 18 months: it is the time that it takes to take into account our customers’ customization requests and to complete the work with the attention to detail that we are known for. Our restorations of Jeep Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, Cherokee and J-truck are of the highest level.

Nothing is left to chance, each component is either NOS (New Old Stock), newly produced or perfectly restored.

Vigilante distinctive elements

Our attention to detail goes as far as adapting existing elements and giving them a VIGILANTE identity while remaining true to the original design. For example, the logos and external emblems were revisited to give them more of a VIGILANTE touch. The steering wheel was reworked with the VIGILANTE embossed logo. All these distinctive elements are made from CNC-ed aluminum.

A price that guarantees a state-of-the-art restoration

The quality of our restorations require thousands of working hours and the high-end mechanical components we use all come from leading suppliers, which makes them expensive.

MOPAR crate engines , Curries Enterprises, Tremec performance, Fox suspensions, Advanced Adapters Atlas transfer case, Bowler transmissions, Baer brakes, …

We only use the very best for each type of material. Thanks to our 20 years of experience, we have a network of skilled experts involved.

We only work with people who are the best at what they do for the tasks we sub-contract.
